<p>Thanks to <a href="http://www.tenhauser.com/blog/" target="new">Ashley Witt</a> for the <a href="http://techradio.johngrinde.com/about/themes/" target="new">theme music</a> for this show, Zebra.<br />
<span id="more-200"></span></p>
<h3>Show Notes</h3>
<ul>
<li>I&#8217;ve been playing with <a href="http://socialmedian.com" target="new" rel="bookmark">socialmedian</a>, a Digg-like social news site. I&#8217;m <a href="http://socialmedian.com/johngrinde" target="new">johngrinde</a>.</li>
<li><a href="http://techradio.johngrinde.com/blog/20081121-new-site-design/" target="new" rel="bookmark">TechRadio.TV has a new look!</a></li>
<li>Moving from WordPress.com to self-hosted WordPress to Drupal, and now, back to WordPress</li>
<li>Base theme is <a href="http://revolutiontwo.com/themes/church" target="new" rel="bookmark">Revolution Church</a> by <a href="http://briangardner.com" target="new" rel="bookmark">Brian Gardner</a></li>
<li>You can get a theme similar to Revolution Blog called <a href="http://www.revolutiontwo.com/themes/code-blue" target="new" rel="bookmark">Code Blue</a></li>
<li>I use <a href="http://ephramzerb.com/projects/feed-wrangler/" target="new" rel="bookmark">Feed Wrangler</a>, a great WordPress plugin that allows you to have multiple feeds with different templates</li>
<li>I used to use <a href="http://reinventedsoftware.com/feeder" target="new" rel="bookmark">Feeder</a>, an excellent Mac application for creating RSS feeds</li>
<li>You can download the full theme with my customizations <a href="http://techradio.johngrinde.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/techradio.zip">here</a></li>
<li>A <a href="http://www.socialmedian.com/story/1767831/maybe-as-designers-we-can-all-agree-on-what-backup-microblogging-tool-should-use-in-the-unfortunate-case-of-twitter-passing-away-via-friendfeed" target="new" rel="bookmark">recent post</a> on socialmedian begged the question, &#8220;Where would you go as an alternative to Twitter&#8221;</li>
<li>I think <a href="http://laconi.ca" target="new" rel="bookmark">Laconica</a> is a good way to go, because you can follow users on other Laconica networks</li>
<li>The <a href="http://army.twit.tv" target="new" rel="bookmark">TWiT Army</a> and <a href="http://identi.ca" target="new" rel="bookmark">Identica</a> are two examples of Laconica in action</li>
<li>I&#8217;m <em>johngrinde</em> on <a href="http://identi.ca/johngrinde" target="new">Identica</a> and the <a href="http://army.twit.tv/johngrinde" target="new">TWiT Army</a></li>

It&#8217;s been pretty quiet around here lately due to my participation in a school play. Meanwhile I&#8217;ve been tweaking this new WordPress theme called <a href="http://www.revolutiontwo.com/themes/church">Revolution Church</a> by <a href="http://briangardner.com">Brian Gardner</a>. The new site features a redesigned homepage showcasing the latest shows, blog posts, and the feeds (I&#8217;ll work on the the subscription area). Now that I have the new foundation down, I&#8217;ll start to make evolutionary changes to the design.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve also changed the feeds around so <strong>you&#8217;ll have to resubscribe to the podcasts</strong> (not the site feed, though).</p>
<p>Hope you like the site!<br />
&mdash;<a href="http://johngrinde.com">John Grinde</a></p>
<p>Oh yeah, I&#8217;ll get the podcasts going again</p>
